Letter Swap and Craftroom Cleanout

I finished and shipped off my contribution to Moki's letter swap. Unfortuntely, after my good (quick) kiln died, I was left to work with my ancient (and slow) kiln. It just doesn't fire glass well. It's actually an enameling kiln and works great for that, but
ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

I wasn't happy with the results of my experimenting:


And ended up going back to the drawing board many (many) times:


Fortunately, I'll (ultimately) be able to do something with the ones I didn't like, once I get the ring saw I've been lusting after. :) Anyway, I finally got started on the last batch:

I forgot to take a (good) photo of the finished products, but here is a terrible photo of one of them (I forgot to turn the lamp away so the glare is obnoxious):


I'm surprised I didn't hear from more people about sharing in my craft room cleanout, but the offer's still valid.
