Where does the time go!?

I can't believe it's been so long since my last post. After a couple of experiments that I was completely unhappy with, I finally completed 2 pairs of the baby shoes I mentioned before. I'm still not keen on them, and I think I probably would have liked to serge around the bottom (instead of the zigzag that I ended up with) but the serger's in the shop, getting repaired.

The pattern calls for 5 pairs of eyelet holes (buttonstitched, I think), but I used cute little eyelets and I only set 1 pair. I didn't know they came in colors and shapes so when I saw some, I pounced on them, paying way too much money. Next time I buy some, I'll go to Eyelet Outlet or another place I can't seem to locate again (but I'll find it).

Anyway, I'll post pictures later. It's pretty busy this weekend!
